The BRIDGE Evaluation Checklist
Subject: The Quality Gate for High-Stakes AI Output
The “Hallucination” Barrier
Acting on AI output without a formal evaluation is the fastest way to lose executive trust. You must define the “E” in BRIDGE before running the prompt.
The 5-Point Check
Data Support: Is every recommendation directly supported by the input provided?
Goal Alignment: Does this move the needle on the “Business Goal” defined in the Background (B) block?
Assumption Audit: Ask the AI: “List every assumption you made in this analysis.”
The CMO Test: Would you be embarrassed to present this to your boss as your own work?
Format Verification: Does the deliverable match the exact structure specified?
Direct Feedback
If a prompt fails any of these points, do not edit it manually. Re-run the prompt with the specific feedback. Manually fixing AI output is a Level 2 (Assisted) behavior; Level 3 (Structured) requires fixing the prompt architecture.
